Foods I CAN Eat

  • Meat
  • Fish
  • Rice
  • Potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Vegetables (with the exception of garlic, tomatoes, asparagus, and corn and light on lettuce, onions, and peppers)
  • Almonds, filberts, walnuts
  • Buckwheat
  • Beans (except soy)
  • Coconut
  • Fruit (with the exception of pineapple, cranberries, grapes - light on peaches)
  • Goat's milk (maybe)
  • Honey, agave nectar, beet sugar (NO cane sugar or corn syrup)
  • Cocoa beans
  • Coffee (thank Christ)

  1. Can you have coconut milk, in addition to actual coconuts?

    If so, you can make yourself Massaman curry, like you like! With some modifications. Here's one, made with chicken:

    Just cut out the tomatoes and garlic, omit the cayenne, and substitute the peanuts out for salty, roasted almonds (lightly crushed at home in a plastic bag, as you did at Chez Ball with some nuts years ago), and you should be good to go.

    I like that the recipe has stomach-soothing ginger, too: maybe you could add a little bit more?

    And--obviously--this'd go great with (cilantro'd?) rice.
